Guidelines for Parents

Please follow the guidelines given below to make this drive successful:

  1. Please train your children to follow the timetable and carry only those books required for the day as per the class time table. In case the time table is not followed, please feel free to connect with the concern authority in the school.
  2. Check the Almanac and notices daily- In case a teacher deviates from the time table and takes-up a book not mentioned, then proper information will be given in the almanac or through notice well in time.
  3. Leave some books at school as classrooms have storage facilities for students to keep book and accessories at some of the branches. This is very thoughtful step being taken by schools as it prevents children from lugging around everyday essentials.
  4. Choose light weight accessories, metal compass boxes, lunch box, zip pouches and a light weight bag with a broad firm base which narrows as it goes upwards and has broad padded shoulder straps evenly distribute weight on the shoulder and back while carrying it.
  5. Correct Posture- Please ensure your little one has correct posture, keep the spine straight and shoulder squared while carrying the school bag.
  6. Put the bag down- Teach your kids to put the bag down whenever they can while waiting and traveling by school bus.
  7. Pack smartly-Train your kids to pack their bags wisely with heavier books at the bottom and lighter books and accessories on top.
  8. Remove Clutter- Children should be trained to clear the bag every alternate day to remove clutter, any excess worksheets, notices, stationery or other miscellaneous items that are not required.
